Settings Configuration

The Settings page is the control center for your WhatzCRM account. Here is a detailed guide to every tab available.


1. Twilio Settings

Manage your voice calling configuration. - Account SID & Auth Token: Connect your Twilio account. - Phone Number: The number used for making outgoing calls. - Status: Check if your integration is active.

2. Contact Tags

Organize your contacts with color-coded labels. - Create Tag: Add new tags like "VIP", "Lead", "Junk". - Color: Assign colors to visually distinguish contacts in the chat list. - Manage: Edit or delete existing tags.

3. Message Templates

Sync and manage WhatsApp templates required for initiating conversations after 24 hours. - Status: View approval status (Approved, Pending, Rejected) from Meta. - Sync: Click to fetch the latest templates from your Meta business account. - Language: Filter templates by language.

4. Invoice Tab

Configure your billing settings for generating customer invoices. - Tax Rates: Set up VAT, GST, or other tax percentages. - Currency: Set your default currency symbol. - Company Details: Address and tax ID to appear on invoices.

5. Plan and Usage

Track your subscription and quotas. - Current Plan: Information about your active subscription. - Usage: Check limits on messages or contacts (if applicable). - Billing History: Download past invoices for your subscription payments.

6. Custom Fields (Data Collection)

Add specific data fields to your contact profiles beyond the defaults (Name/Phone). - Add Field: Create a new field (e.g., "Date of Birth", "Industry", "Customer ID"). - Field Type: Choose generic types like Text, Number, Date, or Dropdown. - Display Order: Arrange how these fields appear in the contact sidebar. - Required: Mark fields as mandatory for agents to fill.

7. Marketing Integration

Configure settings for your bulk messaging campaigns. - Sender Name: The default name displayed to customers. - Opt-out Management: Keywords that automatically unsubscribe users (e.g., "STOP").

8. General / Organization Profile

  • Company Info: Upload your Logo and set your Company Name.
  • Timezone: Ensure this is correct so campaign schedules match your local time.

9. API Keys & Webhooks

For developers and integrations. - Generate Key: Create API keys to access WhatzCRM programmatically. - Webhooks: Configure URL endpoints to receive real-time events (Message Received, Status Updated).
